We are currently offering 4 days ‘Best Before’ (from bake day) for your artisan breads/products.
This means that you will have 3 days life once delivered to your doorstep.
In summer, we tend to offer less life because the heat and humidity affects internal shelf life. In winter, the natural ambient coolness keeps produce fresher for longer.
All our products freeze well, best frozen on the day of purchase. Defrost by leaving the product at ambient and then use as normal, alternatively check the product details on the website (https://theartisanbakery.com/pages/about-the-artisan-bakery) for the best options to refresh or heat up.
We highly recommend freezing your wonky bread when it arrives to lock in freshness and to reduce waste at your home. You should freeze your bread before the ‘Best Before’ and once you defrost, you should consume that bread within 24 hours. Do not keep your bread frozen for more than one month.
We advise that you do not eat your bread if you notice something doesn’t taste, smell or look right. If this is the case, please discard of the product and let us know by email on hello@earthandwheat.com.
